There will be no group, private, or academy lessons this coming Monday. For that academy group Monday will be made up in the coming weeks.
There will be no drills this weekend due to the Bismarck Open tournament. Hope you all can come out and watch and support
We would like to congratulate a few of our Bismarck Tennis Club players on their recent accomplishments. AlyssaWolf took consolation championship in the recent level 5 tournament in Rapid City and then followed that up with a championship in Valley City just last weekend. Also taking down two championships in a row now is Elizabeth Felderman who also won in Valley City last weekend along side Alyssa. Lastly Lizzy Allan who took the consolation last weekend in Valley City and is coming into the Bismarck Open as the defending champion. We are very proud of you and how you are progressing and we wish you all luck in the tournament this weekend
Weather permitting we will be holding our usual drills this Saturday at 10:30am followed by our new advanced 2hr clinic for 4.0+ adults and top junior players.
We would like to offer something for the advanced players in our community beginning this Saturday at noon at Tom Oleary. This program is geared toward players 4.0 and higher and also for top ranking local junior players. We will run from noon-2pm every applicable Saturday and operate on a week to week sign up. Cost is only $30/player/week! The program will cover all aspects of singles and doubles play in a competitive and fun environment and there will be a logical progression from week to week. I invite you all out this Saturday for an introductory price of only $20 to come and see if you like the new material. If youwould like to reserve a spot please RSVP by enailing email@example.com or calling/texting to 701-214-1541. We will have a maximum of 12 participants each week to ensure quality of instruction and play experience.
Hope to see you all this Saturday
Thank you all for participating in this summer’s tennis program. First session went well and I think session two will only get better! Here are a few updates on the times and days for groups:
12 and under academy has moved to Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 3:30-5, officially beginning today.
14 and under recreational group will stay Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30
Both 18 and under academy groups will now be meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30.
Thank you all and we will see you soon!
We will be cancelling this weekend’s drills in order to help support another fun event taking place in town. Rod Morasch, the new tennis director at Capital Racquet, would like to host a “breakfast at Wimbledon” social at Capital Racquet and Fitness Center this Saturday (July 5th) beginning at 8am. The plan is to socialize and watch the live women’s final and also partake in some match play. Rod will be bringing the strawberries and cream, but please bring something else that can be shared.
Thank you all for your participation in our drills, they will continue next Saturday at regular time. Hope you can make it to the social at Capital Racquet this weekend. …go Fed! ;)
Sorry to say that the weather is just not cooperating today so we are cancelling our tournament/fun day. We will instead be holding this the first day of the next session which begins immediately next week, Tuesday at 11am for pre noon groups and 2pm for all afternoon groups. Payments for next session may be sent in via mail or in person (contact me at 701-214-1541) or at the first practice next week.
Thank you all for your patience!
Due to the weather today we will try to move our end of session tournament and water balloon day/second session sign up day to tomorrow (Tuesday). All before noon groups meet at 11:30am and all afternoon groups (including Mon/wed) meet at 2pm. I hope the majority of you can still make it!
Thanks for being patient
Due to the amount of on going rain and the looks of the radar we will just be cancelling our drills and clinics for today.
On a side note we are still in need of excess coolers for the junior fun day this coming Monday so please text or call me at 701-214-1541 if you have one or two that we can borrow for Monday. They will be returned promptly, thanks
